Do you have a new Realme mobile? Maybe you want to change the SIM card PIN, either because the card is new and you don't want the code that comes by default, or because you simply want to change it for a new one to have more security. The truth is that changing the code of a SIM in the Realme interface is very simple. In this tutorial I explain how you can do it step by step.
First of all, you need to insert the SIM card into the device. You can do it through the slot and with the help of the extractor key that comes in the box. Also a thumbtack or paperclip. Avoid inserting a toothpick or pin, as it can break off and fall into the hole. Once the card is inserted, enter the PIN code. If you don't remember, call your operator so they can fix it.
To change the code, enter the Settings app of your Realme mobile. Next, click on 'Devices and privacy' and in the 'Encryption and blocking' section click where it says 'Set up SIM card lock'. Finally, select on 'Change SIM PIN'.
Now you must enter the old code and click on the accept button that appears in the upper area. Finally, write the new code and click on accept again. From now on, when you turn the device back on, it will ask for the new PIN code. Be careful, it will not be necessary to enter it when you lock and unlock the device, only when it turns on completely again.

So you no longer have to enter the code. However, remember that when you reactivate the option you will have to enter the PIN that you previously saved on the device, even if you change mobile.
