Who has not ever received an SMS without a number or return address. Often this type of text message is reserved for certain services, such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or Google, or for certain organizations, such as Endesa or Hacienda. Other times, companies simply send spam via SMS without any sender or registration. With the latest Android and iOS updates we can now block SMS without a number from any company or service without resorting to third-party applications. The process is very simple in both cases.
So you can block SMS without number or registration on Android
Blocking text messages without a sender on Android may differ between phones and brands. What we recommend from tuexperto.com is to go directly to the Google Messages application. In general, it is installed on all phones with the most recent versions of Android 9 and Android 10. Otherwise, we can always use the Google store.
With the application installed on the phone we will go to the SMS whose sender we want to block. Within the SMS we will click on the three Options points and then on the Details option. Now we just have to mark the option to Block and mark as spam. The phone will automatically block incoming text messages from the sender as long as the name matches the application record.
To follow this same process, other layers of personalization will have to click directly on the sender's name (Facebook, Google, WhatsApp…) and then mark the option to Block number.

In iOS this process is practically identical to the one we have just detailed. We will only have to click on the sender's name in the Messages application and then activate the option to Block this number. In old versions of iOS we will have to click on the Info button in the upper right corner. Finally, we will click on Block contact to proceed with blocking the messages.
