Block advertising calls without apps thanks to the Robinson List

There is nothing more annoying than receiving advertising calls at any time of the day. As we just mentioned, there are several ways to block calls of this type. One of the most effective ways is by using the famous Robinson List.

In summary, we can define the Robinson List as a platform that allows us to register our telephone numbers, email address and physical address to stop receiving all types of advertising. This platform is regulated by the Spanish Association of Digital Economy and the respective data protection laws, and its registration is completely free.

To register in it, as simple as accessing the platform page and entering all the data referring to our person. We will then register both our telephone numbers and our physical and digital addresses. From now on we should not receive any type of publicity or advertising call. If so, we can report the respective advertising company 3 months after registering with the Robinson List.

Block spam calls on Android and iOS with apps thanks to TrueCaller

Do you want to make sure that you do not receive any kind of advertising call on both Android and iOS? Fortunately, there are several applications in both operating systems to block these types of calls. A good example of this is TrueCaller, a free application that is compatible with both systems.

Once we have installed it on our smartphone with iOS or Android, we will open it and provide all the corresponding permissions for its proper functioning. Later we will have to register our mobile phone number and select the application as the default calling application. After this, the application will start every time a contact calls us. In the event that it is a spam call or a hidden number, the application will notify us of this, indicating the name of the company.

If we want to block this type of call, as simple as going to the application's Settings in the left sidebar and clicking on the Block section. There we can activate the different call blocking options.
