Google contacts have likely brought you down the street of bitterness if you have a Xiaomi device with MIUI layer. Unlike other terminals of the brand such as the Xiaomi Mi A1 or Xiaomi Mi A2 that have pure Android, the rest of the brand's devices have a quite different interface. And this can pose a compatibility problem between the layer itself and the contacts of your family and friends, especially when it comes to synchronizing them between Google and the phone.
How to synchronize Google contacts with your Xiaomi mobile
To fix any compatibility problem between Android, the contacts and your Xiaomi phone, we will proceed as follows. Complete this simple tutorial step by step for which you will only need your mobile. Make sure it has enough battery so you don't run out of the process.
First, we are going to find the 'Settings' application. You will locate it because its icon is a gear. Then, we are going to enter the 'Applications' section and within this we look for ' Manage applications '. On this screen we will be able to do all the tasks related to our applications: uninstall them, apply a battery saver, clear the cache, etc. We are going to look for the own of the contacts, the one that makes it possible for us to have our Google agenda on the phone, called 'Contacts'. As you can see, it has no loss.
Now, within the application settings, we are going to make sure that we have given all the permissions it asks for. In this way we will be able to properly synchronize our contacts once we connect to our Google account. To do this, we look for the 'Permissions' section and we are going to activate the switch of all the permissions that the application requests.
Once we have given all the permissions, we proceed to restart the 'Contacts' application. To do this, we enter multitasking and close it so that it is no longer operational. We open it again and we can see all our synchronized contacts.
