We tell you all the options available to have the notification light activated on your mobile.
How to activate the notification light on Samsung
A simple way to recover the notification light is by activating one of the options found in accessibility.
To do this, go to Settings >> Accessibility >> Advanced settings and select "Flash notification." As you can see in the images, you have two options available: camera and screen flash.
If you use the "Camera Flash" option, you will see that when you receive a notification , the rear camera flash light turns on and off intermittently. It can be a good option if you usually put the mobile with the screen facing down, since otherwise you will not see the light blink and you will miss the notifications.
On the other hand, if you choose "Screen Flash" keep in mind that it only works when the screen is on. In this case, the dynamic used is to apply a yellow tone color over the entire screen, attenuating the background of what you are seeing. A detail that you will miss with the screen off.
You can activate any of the options, and if you want to see how it works first, just choose "Preview". On the other hand, some Samsung A and S series models have an extra option to replace the notification LED, since they can use Edge Lighting. To activate it you just have to go to Settings >> Screen >> Edge screen >> Edge lighting
You can choose different effects, colors and patterns of the animation to show when notifications arrive. And an interesting detail is that it allows you to select the applications that will be compatible with this function.
Other options to activate the notification light
If you don't like the options that Samsung offers you to replace the notification LED too much, you can try the dynamics offered by some applications.
For example, Always On Edge offers more options to customize the notification notice on the Samsung. It has a free version that gives an assortment of alternatives, for example, you can choose to show a halo of light on the screen, or select which sections of the interface you want to illuminate.
You can also select between different colors, if you want the dynamics to work with the screen on or off, when the mobile is connected or we receive a call. So it takes into account a series of situations so that the dynamics of the notifications do not affect your interaction with the mobile.
One detail to keep in mind is that these types of applications require many permissions, so you will have to evaluate that point before installing them. Other apps with similar features that you can try are NotifyBuddy and Notification Light.
