You may like to fall asleep to music or the radio, or play songs at home at times, but with the intention that they will stop at some point. In case you didn't know, the iPhone has a function to automatically turn off any type of playback according to the time you set yourself. This is a native iOS feature that works for any music or radio app, even video player apps.
In this way, if you are a regular at Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, TuneIn Radio or Netflix, you can set a timer from the settings so that the music or videos stop at the moment you decide. Imagine that you go to bed at 12 at night and want to listen to a list of relaxing music on Spotify, but you don't want it to stay activated, you want it to finish in an hour. Well, you just have to enter where we are going to explain and program it.
To stop putting a timer to the music or video of your iPhone or iPad you just have to follow the following steps:
- Go into the Clock app.
- Just below all, on the right, you will see the Timer section. Get inside her.
- You will see that at the top there is a dial with the hours, minutes and seconds of the timer. Configure it to your liking.
- Below is the option When finished, click to enter it.
- Go to the bottom and activate the Stop playback option
- Then you just have to click on Save, an option shown in the upper right.
- If you want to schedule music or video to turn off on the iPhone, click Start.
Once this is done, you just have to go to the music, video or radio application that you want to listen to and start playing. As soon as the timer is reset, playback will stop automatically and the iPhone or iPad will freeze and remain silent. Did you like this trick? Didn't you know him?
