The new look of the Google email manager is now available for different platforms: desktop version, Apple iOS and Android. However, not all users of the mobile platform have received the pertinent update "" it is the Gmail version 4.5 "". So it would have to be installed through another formula. And we will tell you about it below.
The new user interface of Gmail, the tool to manage the email accounts of the Internet giant, has changed. And it is that the American company has included the possibility of classifying the inbox in different sections: main, social, promotions, notifications or forums. And all this thanks to different tabs in the inbox itself. In other words: once the new version is installed, the user will have up to five different inboxes.
The update to version Gmail 4.5 is reaching different users around the world. However, the launch is being done gradually. So if it has not been received yet, the best way to be using this new functionality is by directly installing the APK file "" extension of all Android applications "". Although to take this step, it should be remembered that you need to enable the possibility of installing applications that are not downloaded from Google Play. How do you do this? Very easy: one goes to the "Settings" menu. Inside, look for "Applications" and activate the box that refers to "Unknown sources". On the other hand, if for example it is a Samsung mobile withSamsung TouchWiz, things vary. And it is that the user must go within «Settings» to the section that indicates «Security» and check the box «Unknown sources».
Well, the computer will be ready for the installation of the new Gmail. Now, you will only have to download the application thanks to a filter made by the Android Community portal. After downloading, you just have to start installing it on your smartphone and wait for this process to finish.
What can be seen from that precise moment? A slightly different aspect of the inbox. Above all, it will be possible to verify that the messages will have been classified, automatically, in the different categories that have been indicated above. And everything will depend on its origin. What's more, the messages will be identified with various colors to differentiate each type of inbox.
But beware, none of the tabs are mandatory: the user himself can choose how many of these five tabs he wants to place in the inbox of his smartphone . What's more, as if you just want to keep using the current view. That is, the view with the main inbox. On the other hand, the controls change their location: they will be at the top of the screen. As well as, all the messages that come from a contact will show the profile photo.
