The camera of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus are undoubtedly two of the best of 2018. A good fault for this is their low focal aperture, which stands at a not inconsiderable f / 1.5 in both cases. This allows us to take night photos in good light, whatever the conditions. However, despite this advantage, the camera software does not include a night mode to use, having to resort to professional mode to control aspects such as aperture or exposure time. Today we will teach you how to activate a mode that will allow us to take pictures with even greater brightness without resorting to manual mode. As you can read in the title, it is about Sports mode.
With this mode we will not only take photos with greater lighting at night, but also captures with greater definition when the body in question is in motion, whatever the time of day.
Activate Sports mode on the Samsung Galaxy S9 to take photos at night and in motion
The night mode of the mobile camera is one of the most useful if our hobby is night photography. However, there are several brands that do not include this serial mode, as is the case with Samsung. Luckily, the brand has included a similar mode with which we can improve our photos at night or in low light.
If we want to activate the Sports mode in the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9 + we will have to go to the Camera Settings, which are found in the gear wheel or gear on the left in the application interface. Then we will go to the Edit camera modes section and then to Rear camera. Now a list with all available camera modes should appear: we just have to look for the one that puts Sports Mode and activate it so that it appears in the camera interface.
Ready! From now on the mentioned Sport mode should appear in the main interface of the camera application. As we have mentioned previously, thanks to this we will be able to take contour photos with better lighting and better defined moving photos on our Galaxy S9.
