The American company Boeing, specialized in the aeronautical sector, has just presented a new smartphone that receives the name of Boeing Black. It is a mobile that at first glance is not very far from the appearance of the lower-mid-range terminals, but inside it hides a characteristic that differentiates it from all the others: we are talking about a maximum security phone oriented towards people who want to keep their privacy safe. And such is its protection against the invasion of privacy that, in the event that someone tried to open the phone to access the physical components, the mobile would automatically delete any data stored inside.
But let's take a closer look to get to know this phone better. The Boeing Black has a size of 131.9 x 67.6 x 13.25 mm and weight is set at 170 grams. Mobile this screen has 4/3 inch size and a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Inside we have a processor whose name has not been released, but we do know that it is a dual-core processor that operates at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. Even the operating system installed as standard is Androidin a version that we do not yet know. As you can see, it is a mobile that at first glance could go unnoticed by any friend of others.
But the Boeing Black is not an ordinary terminal. All the files that are stored on this mobile are encrypted to prevent anyone outside the phone from accessing them. We also find a digital fingerprint scanner, private radio channels, a PDMI port (an output that combines USB, microjack, HDMI and current connections to charge the mobile) and even a sensor to charge the terminal with sunlight.
As we mentioned at the beginning of the article, the Boeing Black incorporates a self-destructive feature that may not be as spectacular as we can imagine. In the event that someone tried to open the phone to manipulate its internal components, the mobile would automatically delete any type of file stored inside the terminal (calls made and received, messages, images, videos, etc.).
The smartphone Boeing Black is primarily geared towards government agencies United States, who in the end and Cape are those who are more concerned that all communications are private. For now, it is most likely that ordinary users do not have access to this terminal, although if we are looking for a completely secure mobile we also have other alternatives such as the Blackphone. The technology of mobile phones with absolute privacy is being increasingly demanded by users, and even more so after spying cases such as that of the well-known NSA have become known.
