Spongebob needs no introduction. A cartoon character that with almost eleven years of life has established itself in pop culture as a tattoo of a biker. Knowing the popularity and pull that this friendly being drags, Vodafone has opened a channel on Vodafone TV dedicated exclusively to the adventures under the sea of SpongeBob SquarePants.
There will be several ways to access the SpongeBob channel on Vodafone TV, and in all of them you have to go to the checkout, since the DTT service and thematic channels that the company makes available to customers who have a 3G mobile phone is not not at all free. There are monthly subscription rates of six euros for contract customers, while prepaid users can subscribe a weekly pass of 2.5 euros. In all cases, accesses with a duration limited to 24 hours are also available, in this case, for 1.5 euros.
And since we bring SpongeBob to Vodafone, what better way to take advantage of it to offer more content to users of the red company. Users who have a mobile phone with access to the company's portal, Vodafone 360, will now be able to download, now, for free, an application that contains photographs, videos and animations of SpongeBob SquarePants. In addition, the same application will serve as access to the channel of this character, in the event that we have contracted the Vodafone TV service.
However, we do not know if the programming of the channel dedicated to SpongeBob will be continuous or if it will cover a specific section of the day. In any case, fans of this yellow character may be more than satisfied with the news, yes, as long as they go through the box.
