Black Shark, a company with active participation by Xiaomi as an investor, returns to the fray with a new model focused on gamers, which stands out for its power and performance. We can say that today it is the most powerful mobile in the world. The device lands on the market with a Snapdragon 855+ processor, as well as a liquid cooling system to maintain the temperature of the terminal at all times.
To all this must be added a futuristic design, which is very reminiscent of its predecessors, with a rear part that protrudes slightly to facilitate grip when playing. The device has been presented in China, where it will begin its journey at a price of 390 euros. Read on for all the details.

The new Black Shark 2 Pro maintains a design very similar to that of its predecessor, the Black Shark 2. Once again, the company has endowed it with a futuristic aesthetic, typical of devices for gamers. In his case, with very marked lines and angles and with the "S" of the brand's logo starring at the back. The cameras continue in the upper corner, poking out independently as in the previous model.
The front also seems identical to the Black Shark 2, with a panel of the same size: 6.39 inches (with FullHD + resolution). Although what stands out this year is the refresh rate, which reaches 240 hertz, thus surpassing other mobiles on the market such as the OnePlus 7 Pro, which at the time bet heavily on this feature. Inside the Black Shark 2 Pro there is room for an eight-core Snapdragon 855+ processor, working at a maximum speed of 2.96 GHz. This SoC is responsible for its great performance, but it is not the only one, since it goes backed by a 12 GB RAM memory and an Adreno 640 graphic. For storage we have 128 or 256 GB in UFS 3.0 format, so it is capable of achieving 2.4 GB of read speed.
And as if this were not enough, the terminal includes 3.0 liquid cooling, a system created by the company itself to reduce the temperature 2.6 degrees more than its predecessor. In this way, it will not be too much trouble to play for many hours at a time or squeeze it too much with powerful games. At the photographic level, the Black Shark 2 Pro has a dual 48 + 13 megapixel main sensor and a 20 megapixel resolution front sensor for selfies. For the rest, the new model for gamers also equips a 4,000 mAh battery with 27W fast charge and Android 9 Pie operating system.
Pricing and availability
The Black Shark 2 Pro will stay in China for now. We do not know if it will reach other territories at some point. In its native country it will be available in four different colors: Bolt (black-green), Freezing Blade (gray-blue), Myth Ray (purple-blue), Racing (blue-red) and Flamingo (red-black).
