Last week Xiaomi surprised us by releasing the first Beta versions of MIUI 12 Global. What does this mean? That the company is already testing the version of MIUI 12 that will reach devices sold in Europe, Spain and the rest of the countries where the brand usually operates. As usual, these types of versions are limited to a certain type of user. To this we must add that the list of mobiles compatible with the MIUI 12 Beta is quite brief. But this does not mean that we cannot test the latest news of Xiaomi's personalization layer in advance. First of all, which phones are compatible with the MIUI 12 Global Beta?
Let's be clear, the Global Beta is only compatible with three models of the company, the Xiaomi Mi 9, the Mi 9T (or Redmi K20 international) and the Mi 9T Pro (or Redmi K20 Pro international). The version in question of each of the models corresponds to the numbering 12.0.0.8, 12.0.0.9, 12.0.0.11 and 12.0.0.8 respectively.
How to install the MIUI 12 Global Beta on my Xiaomi mobile
Since the latest versions of MIUI 11, Xiaomi has decided to veto access to its public betas, at least officially. This means that we will not be able to install the Beta ROM following the usual procedure, that is, through the MIUI update options.
To test MIUI 12 on our mobile we will have to have the bootloader yes or yes. Later we will download the ROM and install it through the bootloader options. For obvious reasons we will not explain how to carry out this process.
