This test version of the Chinese brand's system is currently available for nine models different belonging to the two brands. A few weeks ago both Huawei and Honor announced the release of EMUI 9 for some exclusive models such as the Huawei P20 or P20 Pro. Precisely today the two brands from the Chinese country have confirmed the release of Android 9 in beta version for nine different models.
Specifically, the mobiles currently compatible with EMUI 9 are the following

- Huawei P20
- Huawei P20 Pro

How to install the EMUI 9 beta on a Huawei or Honor mobile
Do you have any of the nine previous smartphones? Then you are in luck, because you can participate in the official beta program. The downside is that, as we mentioned at the beginning of the article, the number of seats is limited, so you must be quick when registering your model. We must also bear in mind that for Huawei to take us into account to participate in the program, we will have to send bug reports constantly.
Once the above is clarified, the first thing we must do is download the application of the Huawei beta program. This application can be installed from Huawei's own page, and we only have to install it to access the aforementioned program.
After this, the next thing we will do is, how could it be otherwise, register with our Huawei / Honor ID. If you don't have one, you can register from the application itself.
Have you already signed in with your account? The last step to access will be to go to the Personnel section that will appear in the upper bar of the application and click on the option to Join the project. finally we will click on the project in question and then on the Register button.
Now all we have to do is wait for Huawei or Honor to accept our request to access the beta program. We will automatically receive a notification with the beta version available for download.
