The Taiwan- based company Asus has unveiled its new range of ZenFone smartphones. It is a range of mobiles at affordable prices that offer mid-range specifications divided into three different phones: the Asus ZenFone 4, the Asus ZenFone 5 and the Asus ZenFone 6 (the latter is the one we are going to discuss in this article).. The Asus ZenFone 6 is the best equipped phone in this range, and will be available in stores for an approximate price of about 150 euros.
The Asus ZenFone 6 is a smartphone where we can find a screen IPS of six inches with a resolution HD of 1280 x 720 pixels. The dimensions of the phone are 166.9 x 84.3 x 9.9 mm, while the total weight of the terminal is 200 grams. It is the heaviest mobile of the three, but still its thickness is so only 5.5 millimeters. The phone has three buttons built into the bottom of the screen (Back button, Home button, and Auxiliary button).
All the operation of the Asus ZenFone 6 is possible thanks to an Intel Atom Z2580 processor that operates at a clock speed of 2 GHz. As in the other two mobiles in this range, the RAM is 1 GigaByte. The phone works under the Android operating system in one of its latest versions, Android 4.3. In fact, this is the version under which high-end mobiles like the Galaxy S3 currently work. Asus has confirmed that in the next few months your phone will be able to update to the latest version of this operating system, Android 4.4 KitKat.
The internal storage space of this phone is a mystery for now, as the company has not released any definitive figures for this feature. It is expected that this capacity is between 2 and 4 GigaBytes, since it is the standard within the internal storage capacity of mid-range mobiles. What is confirmed is that the Asus ZenFone 6 will have a slot for external microSD cards of up to 64 GigaBytes in capacity.
The two chambers of the Asus ZenFone 6 have a more than acceptable quality: thirteen megapixel camera for the main camera and two megapixels for the front camera used for video calls.
The battery capacity is 3230 mAh. It is a difference of more than 1000 mAh in relation to the ZenFone 5, so this is the phone with the longest autonomy of the three phones in the ZenFone range.
Asus has not provided the official date for the launch of this mobile to the market. In principle, the price of the Asus ZenFone 6 will be approximately 150 euros, although this figure may vary slightly due to taxes. Like the ZenFone 5, the Asus ZenFone 6 will be available in four colors: black, white, red, and gold. In the image attached to the beginning of the article you can see all these colors in the phone cases.
