Asus has released the second part of its Asus ROG Phone for gamers. The device arrives with a design very similar to that of its predecessor, with its own aesthetics for the most futuristic gamers that does not go unnoticed (especially its rear part). Power is the undisputed hallmark of this new Asus ROG Phone 2. The terminal houses inside an eight-core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor working at a speed of up to 2.95 GHz.
This SoC is accompanied by nothing more and nothing less than 12 GB of RAM, which classifies it as one of the most powerful mobiles of the moment. For storage we have 512 GB in UFS 3.0 format (without the possibility of expansion). At the screen level, the ROG Phone 2 has a 6.6-inch AMOLED type, a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19: 9, ready so that we can view games without problems.
For the photographic section, Asus has introduced in its new equipment a 48 + 13 megapixel double main camera, with which we can take bokeh-type photos. On the front we find a 24 megapixel selfie sensor, which is not bad either. Regarding the rest of the features, the Asus ROG Phone 2 also has a fingerprint sensor on the panel, a 6,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charge (another of its strengths), as well as an Android 9 Pie system (configurable).
But if there is something to highlight about this new phone for gamers, in addition to the processor or the battery, it is that it has a long list of accessories available, which allow us to configure it according to our needs.
- AeroActive Cooler II
- Aero Case
- TwinView Dock II
- WiGig Display Dock Plus
- ROG Kunai Gamepad
- Mobile Desktop Dock
- ROG Lighting Armor Case
- Pro Dock
For now, the Asus ROG Phone 2 will go on sale in China from tomorrow at an unknown price. It is expected to land in other markets from September. We will be very vigilant in case it ends up arriving in our country to inform you of all the details as appropriate.
