Android has not only democratized the use of smart phones, but has also been able to unite two types of devices, smartphones and tablets, making the line that separates each concept has become blurred, until it is almost exclusively differentiated by the size of the screen. Something like this would happen to the Asus Eee Pad that we will see with the Android operating system and that could be revealed at CES 2011.
This device, of which no photographic captures are yet known, is committed to uniting even more the philosophy of the smartphone to that of the tablet. In this case, making use of one of the accessories that is best valued by a good part of the users: the sliding keyboard. And it is that according to reveals Yahoo! News, the Taiwanese company has an ace up its sleeve in the form of a small revolution for the sector: a tablet equipped with a slide-out keyboard.
The Asus Eee Pad equipped with a slide-out keyboard and Android operating system (the version of the platform is unknown, although it does not seem unlikely that it is Android 2.3 Gingerbread to begin with) will have a generous ten-inch screen. It will be multi - touch, and although the resolution will present is not known, bets will indicate that image quality of 1,280 x 720 pixels (justito to play content in HD).
It also points in the direction that the Asus Eee Pad with Android and sliding keyboard has, at least, a USB 3.0 port. This type of connection is distinguished by two things: at first glance, we see that it is different from USB 2.0 because the female connector has a small blue slot; and once connected, we warn that the data transfer and communication between devices is going to be stripped (multiplies by five the connection rates compared to the previous version).
