Update to Android Oreo 8.0 on the Asus Zenfone 4
Asus has met users with this major update. We have to bear in mind that it is a terminal that has been presented in the second half of the year, so the waiting period for the new version of Android has been short. The Asus Zenfone 4 has a stable update for Android Oreo 8.0 right now, users will be able to update without any problem.
Possibly being something recent it has not jumped globally so you have to be patient and wait for it to arrive. If we are still eager to update and test the benefits of Android Oreo, what we can do is go to the updates section within settings and delete the data. Once this is done we will click on "search for updates" and wait to see if it appears.
This update brings cosmetic improvements and changes to the ZenUI layer. Among the main changes we find a much simpler and more intuitive layer that brings the new Android Oreo Emojis. In addition, we have support for Picture in Picture mode, adaptive icons.
The truth is that if the pace of updates continues in this way, Asus users will be more than happy. At the moment the only thing we can do is wait for the rest of the phones in the Zenfone 4 family to receive this update.
