The French company ARCHOS has introduced the new ARCHOS 50d Helium, a smartphone that is introduced to the market with a design that, in itself, is quite striking. According to the company, the 50d Helium consists of a casing with a stone finish, and is available in two different finishes: Storm Blue and Stone Gray . The ARCHOS 50d Helium incorporates a five-inch screen, and its interface is powered by the Android 5.1 Lollipop version of the Android operating system. The starting price of this mobile is 150 euros, and we will tell you all about its characteristics.
Starting with its front, the ARCHOS 50d Helium is presented with a screen IPS of five inches to reach a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, resulting in a density of set pixels in the 293 ppi. Mobile measures this are set out in 146 x 72.2 x 8.4 mm, and the weight reaches 154 grams. Available housing colors are gray (“Stone Gray”) and blue (“Storm Blue”), both with a stone finish.
As regards performance, the ARCHOS 50d Helium is powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 of four cores (Cortex-A53) reaching a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. The RAM memory capacity is set at 1 GigaByte, while the graphics processor that accompanies these components is an Adreno 305. The internal memory is 8 GigaBytes, and can be expanded by means of an external storage card of the microSD type. The operating system comes installed as standard 50d Helium from Archoscorresponds to the version of Android 5.1 Lollipop, one of the most recent versions of the Android operating system.
All these technical specifications of the ARCHOS 50d Helium are complemented by a main camera of 13 megapixels, which includes auto focus and an LED flash for better lighting of photographs taken in the dark, a front camera of five megapixel, connectivity 4G LTE of Ultra Internet -fast, Dual-SIM slot (to use two phone cards simultaneously) and a battery with a capacity set at 2,100 mAh.
The ARCHOS 50d Helium will be available starting this July for an official launch price set at 150 euros. The 50d Helium joins the smartphones that ARCHOS has presented this year, including from the Archos 50 Diamond, which was presented with an official price of 200 euros, or the Archos 50 Helium Plus and 55 Helium Plus, available for an official price that started from 150 euros.
