Neither February, nor March, nor April: January seems to be the month chosen for the presentation of Apple's new line of tablets. The event would coincide with the anniversary of the debut of the first iPad, which took place on January 27, 2010. This is suggested by DigiTimes, a medium lavish in rumors and information from the factories where the Cupertino operates.
But the surprises do not end there. This new rumor also points in the direction of what has been raised since the last: it will not be one, but two, the new tablets that Apple will show. One would be a technical renovation of the current iPad 2, with which we could come across something like the iPad 2S, with an improved processor and some new features in the technical section, keeping the same design.
On the other hand, we would know the iPad 3, a terminal that would be a novelty in every way, showing a completely renewed aspect, with a screen that would double the resolution of the current device - reaching a canvas of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels of spectacular definition - and very possible novelties in the graphic management section, perhaps hoping to exploit the highly applauded possibilities of the terminal as a platform for video games.
The strategy based on two launches would seek to stand up to the good results of the Kindle Fire, Amazon's tablet, which has dazzled the public thanks to its price, of only $ 200 - just over 150 euros, at the current exchange rate. Thus, the iPad 2S would come to improve the performance of the iPad 2 for a price similar or lower than that currently sold, while the device that today can be obtained in stores would drop in price to compete with the rest of the tablets on the market, becoming the iPad 3 as the high-end terminal.
Remember that yesterday we told you that the supposed home buttons of the iPad 3 had been filtered, that the only exception they had with respect to those of iPad 2 were not visible, since they were presented in the interior area of the design, presenting a space for assembly with the slightly smaller chassis in the possible new device than the one sold in stores today.
