After the last update that Apple launched for its mobile devices, some of the problems that it claimed to correct, continued to exist. However, those from Cupertino have taken a little longer to solve the problem and have given way to the new version of their mobile platform: iOS 6.0.2.
The new iOS 6 version of Apple's icons has brought more than one problem to users: the first ”” and most recognized by customers ”” was the change of the Google Maps database for the company's own. Although, the problems started with the first uses; the indications shown on the screen did not correspond to the places chosen. Hence, companies such as Nokia or Google launched their own applications in the official Apple store. These are Nokia HERE and Google Maps for iPhone.
However, another of the inconveniences that occurred in this version of the mobile operating system is that customers experienced failures in the WiFi connection, very often; that is to say: they suffered sporadic disconnections from the usual WiFi wireless points, so the connection to be able to surf the Internet had to be done through 3G connections and the consequent expense of the flat data rate.
Now, the new update (iOS 6.0.2) released by the team led by Tim Cook "" the current CEO of Apple "" will try to improve this vulnerability and improve the WiFi connections of two recent models: iPhone 5 and iPad mini; no other model in the California catalog has been included in the upgrade package, and the problems exist in the same way.
In order to update to the new version, customers must access their equipment and go to the "settings" section. Once inside, you should go to the "general" and "software update" box. There it should indicate "" always talking about the iPhone 5 or iPad mini "" that there is a new version of the software, iOS 6.0.2 with an approximate weight of 55 MB.
On the other hand, Apple is also working on launching version iOS 6.1, of which it has already released several beta versions "" test versions "" that are currently being tested by the developers and which is in the fourth installment. In it, it is expected that the maps of the iPhone will improve substantially compared to what can be enjoyed today. As expected, the final version could be at the end of next January, the date on which the new beta launched recently will expire.
However, there are more problems to solve, and perhaps the most important, it refers to the management that iOS 6 is doing of the battery of the different devices: apparently, users are seeing how their devices are making more use than ever of the battery, and the autonomy of the terminals is being significantly lower. But for now Apple has not confirmed anything about the final launch of this new version. What does seem clear is that the initial interest that this smartphone was arousing in the United States has dropped considerably. And the main providers have already started to lower their price.
