For this year Apple would be working on three iPhone models. One of them, known as iPhone 8, would have a 5.8-inch screen and would use OLED technology. This information, which has been appearing in some leaks in recent months, has been confirmed a few hours ago by the Asian media Nikkei. This phablet would be accompanied by two smaller models (4.7 and 5.5 inches), both with LCD technology. We would therefore find an iPhone 7, an iPhone 7s and an iPhone 8. The latter would come to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the launch of Apple's first mobile.
According to the Asian newspaper Nikkei, Apple is preparing a new iPhone with a 5.8-inch OLED panel. We are talking about 0.3 inches more than the current iPhone 7 Plus. This new device would be announced along with the new iPhone 7s next September. If we look at other leaks, the new iPhone 8 would have an improved Lightning charger. This means that from the next iPhone it is very possible that we can enjoy fast charging, obtaining characteristics similar to the current USB Type-C connectors.
The new iPhone 8 would also arrive with a renewed fingerprint sensor. Given that the terminal would not have a physical home button this year, it is very likely that the TouchID is located within the touch panel itself. Regarding the photographic section, other rumors suggest that the iPhone 8 would equip a camera with 3D functions. For now there is no data on the resolution, but this addition would allow you to achieve a higher image quality than that of other generations.
Little by little, a very high-end phone is emerging, which probably has a price within the reach of very few pockets. In any case, Apple is going to have a very difficult time. The new Samsung Galaxy S8 with very similar features will be announced shortly. This model will be announced on March 29 in New York.
