According to the latest rumors, Samsung could unveil the Galaxy Note 10 on August 7 in New York. In the last hours we have been able to know new details of the photographic section of the device, one of the most anticipated characteristics. The latest leak ensures that this new model for the Note family would have a three-stage variable aperture: f / 1.5 - f / 1.8 - f / 2.4. It would be a function inherited from the Samsung Galaxy S9, although improved for the occasion.
The aperture of a lens determines the amount of light the camera sensor receives. Therefore, a variable aperture means that all the images that we take with the terminal look sharper and have less noise. The Galaxy S9 could switch between two apertures, the largest and widest, f / 1.5, and a narrower, f / 2.4. In fact, you could see the aperture blades moving as the Galaxy S9's camera switched between the two fixed stages.
A three stage variable aperture would allow for greater flexibility and therefore better performance. The f / 1.5 - f / 2.4 aperture would work well in both low light and bright light conditions. The f / 1.8 aperture would be very effective for intermediate cases. This should reduce overexposure in shots, something that has long been a trait in Samsung smartphone cameras. At the moment, it is not clear if both Galaxy Note 10 models would present this feature or if the South Korean plans to limit it only to the Pro version.
In any case, in addition to an improved photographic section compared to its predecessors, there are other features that have leaked in recent days on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Apparently, the terminal would have a 6.4-inch screen. Inside there would be room for an Exynos 9820 processor (Snapdragon 855 in some countries). This chip would be accompanied by up to 12 GB of RAM. There is also talk of a 4,500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and the loss of the 3.5-millimeter headphone jack.
