The South Korean company is preparing a new mid-range series, the Galaxy M family. We already know details of one of the members of this family, who everything indicated that they would replace the Galaxy A, but it seems that not. Samsung will continue with the A series, will present new models later and will coexist with the M series, which would be somewhat below. New details have been leaked.
According to SamMobile, Samsung is developing two new devices of the Galaxy A family. These have the model number SM-A305F and SM-A505F and will come with a version of 32 or 64 GB for the first model and 64 or 128 GB for the second, so it is very likely that the latter is more powerful. Furthermore, the possible color variants are known. On the one hand, the first model would arrive in a blue, black, red and white version, while the second model will arrive in two more colors: silver and pink. One of these models could belong to the Samsung Galaxy A8S, the first Samsung mobile to include a hole in the screen for its camera.
The Galaxy M series: up to three models
On the other hand, the Galaxy M series will come with SM-M205 and M305-SM models and will also arrive in different storage versions: 32/64 GB and 64/128 GB respectively. They will arrive in a black and dark gray version. A model called M-M105F with version of 16 and 32 GB of storage is also expected. This would be a more economical entry range. The Galaxy M series could be destined for markets such as Asia, the Middle East and Africa, but it is likely that Samsung will also distribute a model in other markets, such as Europe.
Many details are still to be known, such as their prices, date of presentation and characteristics. There is no doubt that Samsung is preparing a good mid-range arsenal that could come out in early 2019, even before the Galaxy S10.
