At the level of characteristics they would be very similar, except for some small details, such as the type of processor or a fingerprint reader under the screen for the Pro version, one of its main distinctions.
It was in July of last year when we met the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. It is likely that this year the Mi Max 4 and 4 Pro will debut on that date, so there would still be enough to meet them. Finally, the two phones would be governed by Android 9 Pie, the latest version of Google's mobile platform, along with the MIUI 11 customization layer.
