A few hours after we learned about the measurements of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, this time it is again some filtered photographs that remind us of the imminent presentation that the Japanese manufacturer Sony is preparing for the technological event of IFA 2014 (from 5 to 10 of September). These new images show a unit of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact in a somewhat more detailed way than we have seen so far. One of the details that has now been fully confirmed is that the sides of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be metallic, something about which there were some doubts given that previous leaks showed a prototype that seemed to incorporate plastic sides.
Beyond this detail, to this day we still do not officially know the technical specifications with which the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be presented, the successor to the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact that hit stores at the beginning of this year 2014. If we refer to the rumors, the first thing to appreciate is that the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will come with a screen of 4.6 inches to reach a resolution of 1,080 pixels (which would be a significant increase in size compared to the 4.3 inch screen of the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact). As internal specifications, rumors suggest that the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact incorporate a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 of four cores that operate at a clock speed of 2.3 GHz. The capacity of the RAM memory will be 3 GigaBytes, while the internal storage space -even despite not being specified yet- can be expanded using an external microSD memory card. The operating system will be Android in one of its most recent versions (most likely the version corresponding to Android 4.4.2 KitKat).
The main chamber, which has appeared in one of these photographs leaked, everything seems to indicate that it will be a camera that will incorporate a sensor of 20.7 megapixels identical to that which will incorporate the Sony Xperia Z3. This sensor will be accompanied by its respective LED flash. Regarding the front camera, no specific data has appeared, so lovers of selfies should wait for the official presentation of this terminal to discover this specific data.
Both the Sony Xperia Z3 and the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be officially presented on September 3. This presentation will be held a few days before the technology event IFA 2014, which will take place in the city of Berlin between days 5 and 10 September.
