All the rumors and leaks assume that on September 3 the Japanese company Sony will present with total security two novelties: the Sony Xperia Z3 and the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. On this occasion it has been the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact that has starred in one of the most detailed leaks that we have seen so far. This is some photographs that show the appearance of the four variants of the Xperia Z3 Compact, which may be available with the housing color green, black, red and white.
These images reveal some key aspects of the design that the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact could have. The first thing that can be seen in them is that the side edges of this mobile are made of plastic, which appears to have a slightly reinforced appearance at the corners that could be designed with the idea of reducing damage to the mobile during falls against the ground. We can also appreciate the presence of the magnetic charging connector, which guarantees us the possibility of charging the mobile through one of the charging bases that Sony has available in the market.
If, in addition to accepting these images as valid, we echo the measurements of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact that were leaked a few weeks ago, we will see that this smartphone could have a size set at 126.98 x 64.9 x 8.8 millimeters, which would be an important reduced thickness compared to the 127 x 64.9 x 9.5 mm of the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. The Sony Xperia Z3, meanwhile, would be presented with dimensions of 146.46 x 72.09 x 7.3 mm.
On the other hand, if we rescue the technical specifications of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact that have been leaking in recent weeks, the first thing we will see is that this mobile will incorporate a slightly larger screen compared to that of the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. This screen may have a size of 4.5 inches with a resolution HD of 1280 x 720 pixels. Inside the Z3 Compact we would find a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with four cores running at a clock speed of 2.5 GHz. RAM memory capacityit would be established at 2 GigaBytes, while the internal memory space would be, at least, 16 GigaBytes expandable by means of a microSD card. The main camera could incorporate a sensor of 20.7 megapixels, and the images themselves confirm to us that this camera will be accompanied by an LED flash.
For the moment we must interpret with great caution the technical information that has been leaked in relation to the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, since at the moment there is no official data. The presentation of this smartphone will take place the next day on September 3, due to the technological event IFA 2014 held in the city of Berlin (Germany).
