Korean Samsung usually launches different versions of its high-end devices. For example, with the Galaxy S8 they launched the Active model, with a much more robust design. In this case, there is no indication of a rugged Galaxy S9, but there is a special version, with slightly shorter specifications, a new design and high-quality cameras. We are talking about what could be called the Galaxy S9 Plus Lite, although it can be confused with the Galaxy A9 Star, it seems not to be the same device. Images have emerged on TENAA and some details.
The terminal has been seen in different angles. We see the rear that seems to be made of glass, with a double camera in a vertical position and located in the upper left area. Just below, an LED flash. In the center is the fingerprint reader, with a square shape. As well as the Samsung logo. The front is not clearly visible, but it would incorporate a wide screen with reduced frames. The buttons would be found on the screen. In addition, the front camera is seen in the upper area. The last image reveals the side of the device. It will have thin aluminum frames. Also, the main camera seems to stick out of the body of the device.
Large screen and cameras with many megapixels
This device, with model number SM-G8855, will have a dual camera of 24 and 16 megapixels. Higher resolutions than those of the Galaxy S9, although other factors also depend on the lenses. The front also appears to be 24 megapixels. Among other specifications, the screen could be 6.28 inches with Full HD + resolution. TENAA shows an eight-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Finally, it could have a 3,700 mAh battery.
Its price and availability are unknown. As well as its release and sale date. Everything indicates that it is a high-end terminal where its double camera will stand out.
