We have been talking for some time about the possibility of the South Korean company Samsung launching two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5. This time, after a specification analysis for two different editions of what appears to be the Galaxy S5 has surfaced online, the possibility of Samsung releasing two editions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is becoming more and more likely. The two editions of this flagship would only be differentiated by their internal components, while its appearance would remain intact in both versions.
In the opinion, the first version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 (which would become the "version premium ") incorporate a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with four cores that operate at a clock speed of 2.5 GHz accompanied by a memory RAM with a capacity of 3 GigaBytes. Screen 5.2 inches would have a resolution QHD, that is, 2560 x 1400 pixels. The internal storage would come with a single version with 32 GigaBytes of capacity. We would also have two cameras; a 16 megapixel main cameraand a front camera of 2.1 megapixels. Regarding the battery, in the leaked data in this rumor there is no specific data in relation to this specification.
The second version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 (the most affordable version of the two editions available) incorporate a processor Exynos 54422 of eight cores with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. The RAM memory would have a capacity of 2 GigaBytes, while the internal storage would offer 16 GigaBytes of space. The screen size would remain intact (5.2 inches), but the resolution will be reduced up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. The cameras would not undergo any modification in relation to the highest-end version (16 and 2.1 megapixelsrespectively). Both in the first and second versions of this terminal we would find the Android operating system in its most recent version, Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Now, all this data can also simply correspond to different test versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 that Samsung would be testing to choose the best components for the final phone. All this information has been known through AnTuTu, an application in which mobile phones are subjected to tests that reveal their specifications to compare them with other terminals on the market.
The issue of the different editions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is nothing new. Some time ago it was said that Samsung could launch an edition of the Galaxy S5 with a plastic casing and another edition with a metal casing, although this rumor has already been forgotten and it has practically been taken for granted that we will only see a single edition with a plastic casing.. What there is no doubt about is that we will have to wait at least until the month of May to officially know the specifications of this new smartphone from the South Koreans.
