It seems that the South Korean brand is determined to expand the range of mobile devices, and according to all indications, it would be preparing a new batch of equipment with the nickname Samsung Galaxy C.
A few days ago we found the clue in the records of Zauba, the Indian platform for the import and export of technological prototypes. Well, if the name of the mysterious Galaxy C was released a few days ago through the Indian company, we already know new data from the most likely new Samsung family.
This leak has been known for the 'registration' of technological devices, which have a kind of passport when they are moved between warehouses and companies' factories. In these documents, each type of terminal has documentation that in many cases is difficult to preserve, and whose data often ends up in the media, as has been evident, on this occasion, with the Samsung Galaxy C.
In the following image we see a fragment of this document that accompanies the electronic devices, and that offers information about the device in question.
But… what would the first Samsung Galaxy C look like?
First of all: patience. We still do not have much data on what the new smartphone of the South Korean company will be like, but we have been able to know some of the technical characteristics of the new device.
The model referenced as Samsung SM-C 5000 reveals some technical data through the Geekbench tester:
As for RAM, memory 'Galaxy C' it becomes strong and come up to 4 GB. If we look at the processor, we know that the terminal would have an octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 617, and in terms of software, it would be Android 6.0.1. Marsmallow his first version.
We have also known that the screen would have a dimension of 5.2 inches, similar to that of its brother Samsung Galaxy S6, and equal in size to those of the Sony Xperia Z5, Microsoft Lumia 950 or HTC 10.
And if we talk about prices, there are still no clues to the value of the first smartphone under the name Galaxy C, however, according to the technical specifications, and although at the moment they are only assumptions, the price of the phone could be close to 300 euros.
The new Samsung catalog
Although the manufacturer had decided to reduce the number of lines of its mobile products, Samsung will now launch its sixth range of smartphones, which joins the S (which contains the smartphones with the best features of the brand), Z (although these not sold in Europe), E, J (the most economical and youthful segment of the South Korean manufacturer), and A (mid-range Samsung phones). Although we must not forget the Samsung Galaxy Note, the phablet of the Asian brand, whose followers will eagerly await the arrival of the Note 6.
Taking into account the wide range of devices, the new Samsung Galaxy C brand comes to expand an already complete catalog, which had been reduced to optimize the sale of its products with the elimination of the Core, Young and Grand, and whose space they occupy now series with numbers and letters.
