A photo leaked on the net has just allowed us to know the appearance of what appears to be a prototype of the successor to the Huawei Ascend P2. According to the information attached to this image, we are looking at the new Huawei Ascend D3 from the Chinese company Huawei. Although at the moment there is no official confirmation regarding the existence of this new mobile terminal, everything seems to indicate that its launch will take place during the month of June with an approximate price of 400 euros for the Chinese market.
According to initial reports, the Huawei Ascend D3 incorporate a screen that will be around five inches and include a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Inside we will have a processor developed by Huawei that will respond to the name HiSilicon Kirin 920 and will come with no less than eight cores. These eight cores will work separated into two groups: four cores working at a clock speed of 1.8 GHz and the other four cores working at 1.5 GHz. The capacity of the RAM memory has not transpired in this leak, but we must remember that in theHuawei Ascend D2 we had a RAM memory with 2 GigaBytes, so in this case it is to be expected that it is a similar or even higher figure.
If we look closely at the image we will see that the frame around the screen is practically non-existent, which adds to the trend of minimizing the screen edges that manufacturers such as the South Korean LG are already applying with their next LG G3.
Another detail that we should not let go unnoticed is that of the eight-core processor about which we already anticipated some rumors at the beginning of this year. The fact that this new Huawei Ascend D3 has an eight-core processor (divided into two groups of four cores) is an interesting guarantee of fluidity and performance when running applications that require the maximum capacity of the equipment.
If we rescued some of the specifications leaked earlier this year will see the Huawei Ascend D3 could incorporate a main camera that would come with a sensor of 16 megapixels (plus an LED flash and, most likely, a front camera with a high image quality). The operating system installed as standard would be Android in its newest and most recent version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. At the time we spoke that the thickness of mobile again this would be so only 6.3 millimeters, reducing by 0.2 mm thickness of the already thin Huawei Ascend P7 we could meet in mid-April.
What we can say with certainty is that this leak is a clear sign that Huawei has decided to resume production of the Huawei Ascend D3, so that in the coming months we should begin to know exact details in relation to its presentation date and its starting price.
