This morning we learned from an official invitation that the Chinese company Huawei will present the new Huawei Ascend Mate 3 on September 4. But far from ending the news from Huawei there, a new leak in the form of photographs has revealed that this company could also present a new mid-range smartphone in the coming weeks. This terminal would respond to the name of Huawei Z100-CL00, and among some of its technical specifications we would find a digital fingerprint reader or a Dual-SIM slot.
Although the existence of this mid-range smartphone is not officially confirmed, the leak includes some of what would be the characteristics of this new mobile. Apparently, the Huawei Z100-CL00 incorporates a screen with a resolution of 720 pixels in a panel whose exact size has not been disclosed. Even so, seeing these images, it is to be assumed that the screen of this mobile is around a size close to five inches.
The processor model incorporated inside this mobile is a mystery (although everything indicates that it is a quad- core processor), which operates at a clock speed of 1.6 GHz. The RAM memory capacity is set at 1 GigaByte, and the internal storage space reaches 16 GigaBytes (of which 10 GigaBytes are available to the user due to the space occupied by the files installed as standard). The photographs do not show whether or not this mobile incorporates a slot for external microSD memory cards.
In addition to this, from what can be seen in the leaked photographs, on the back of the Huawei Z100-CL00 there is a digital fingerprint reader that would allow you to unlock the mobile screen simply by resting your finger on the back cover of the terminal. Of course, we should not trust these images since the terminal that appears in them seems to be covered with a housing, which makes the sides of the mobile appear larger than they really are. Regarding the final name of this mobile, everything indicates that Huawei will present this terminal under the name Huawei Ascend G7.
To know the exact details of both this new mid-range mobile and the Huawei Ascend Mate 3 we have no choice but to wait until the IFA 2014 event. In it we will attend the official presentations of all the major mobile phone manufacturers, and in addition to Huawei we will also see the news in terms of mobile phones from Samsung, Sony or LG (among others). Some of the mobile models that are expected to be seen at this event are the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Sony Xperia Z3 (along with the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact), among others.
