The Japanese company Sony seems to be working on a new phablet- type smartphone, that is, a mobile with a screen whose size will be greater than six inches. This has been revealed to us by a performance test (carried out by an anonymous user in the AnTuTu application) in which the technical specifications of a terminal that responds to the Sony Xperia Z3X name have appeared, which seems to reveal that Sony has been working on a noticeably larger version of the recently introduced Sony Xperia Z3.
According to this performance test, the Sony Xperia Z3X is a smart phone that incorporates a screen of 6.2 inches reaching a resolution of type Quad HD, ie, a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It would be a screen size similar to the six inches that the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra incorporates, a terminal that was officially presented at the beginning of this year 2014. In addition, if we refer to some filtered photographs back in July, we will see that the design of the Sony Xperia Z3X would present very striking details among which themain chamber, which incorporate a sensor 22.1 megapixels with a size of between two and three inches and an opening type f / 1.2.
Inside the Sony Xperia Z3X we would find a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 of eight cores (divided into four cores type Cortex-A57 and four cores type Cortex-A53) that also incorporate the technology of 64 bit. Said processor would be accompanied by a memory RAM of 4 gigabytes, which would evidence that this smartphone would be positioned as one of the most powerful mobile market (at the least failing to appear more leaks with new competition from Sonylooking forward to next year). The operating system installed as standard, as revealed by the performance test that has been leaked on this occasion, would correspond to Android in its version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat, although we cannot rule out the possibility that finally the version chosen for this Mobile is that of Android L.
All this information is completely extra-official, and at the moment a single performance test is not enough to confirm or deny the existence of this supposed Sony Xperia Z3X. Given that this smartphone is expected to hit stores at the beginning of 2015, it is most likely that - in the case that we are facing a real project - in the coming months we will know more detailed information about this new Sony mobile.
