The Samsung Galaxy Core from the South Korean company Samsung seems to have a new replacement ready that would hit stores this year. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy Core 2, a new smartphone whose specifications have just been leaked on the net. This new leak has allowed us to know that the new Samsung Galaxy Core 2 will arrive with a four-inch screen and with a dual-core processor running at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz.
But the information does not end there. We have also learned that this screen four inches will have a capacitive TFT panel will offer a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The dual-core processor running at 1.2 GHz clock speed will be accompanied by a RAM memory with a capacity of 512 MegaBytes. The internal storage, in addition to including a slot for external microSD memory cards of up to 32 GigaBytes, will have a space of 4 GigaBytes.
As we can see, the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 will become a new mid-range mobile that will include the usual technical specifications within this category. Filtration has also allowed us to know that the main camera of this terminal will incorporate a sensor to five megapixels (which most likely will be accompanied by a LED flash). All these specifications will be possible thanks to a battery that will offer a capacity of 2,000 milliamps.
At the moment we do not know the version of the Android operating system that this new smartphone will come standard, although it is to be assumed that it will most likely be Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Of course, since we are talking about a terminal that will hit stores this year, it is quite likely that sooner or later it will end up receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
The launch of this new Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is scheduled for the end of May, although at the moment we do not know the exact availability of this terminal. Although there is no official starting price, everything indicates that we are facing a smartphone whose price will be around 200 euros in the European market.
We must remember that Samsung has recently launched a new version of the Galaxy Core: the Samsung Galaxy Core Advance. It is a mobile that was presented at the end of December last year, and included as standard a 4.7-inch screen, a dual-core processor running at 1.2 GHz, 1 GigaByte of RAM memory, 8 GigaBytes internal storage, main camera five megapixel and battery 2,000 milliamperescapacity. Of course, all these improved technical specifications meant that the starting price of this mobile was around 300 euros, something that does not fit with the low-cost philosophy of mid-range terminals.
