Very recently we informed you that the Samsung mid-range of 2018 was already beginning to update to Android 9 Pie in Europe, arriving in Spain in a short space of time. Now it seems that it is the turn of the entry range, with the Samsung Galaxy J7 in the spotlight. We know this thanks to the Wi-Fi Alliance, an organization that promotes WiFi technology and certifies them, in which the terminal is seen running with the latest (for now) version of Android.
Android 9 on the 2018 Samsung Galaxy J7
Such an update to Android 9 Pie would bring the new One UI layer to the Samsung Galaxy J7, a layer in which the curved design is prioritized over the flat, better adapted to large screens. The One UI design consists of two well differentiated areas, a larger one in which the user can 'look' and another a little shorter in which to 'interact', all adjusted to Material Design 2, the new line of design developed by Android. Gone would be the traditional Samsung layer, too anchored in a past in which mobiles still had prominent frames and a flat screen.

First, the update is expected to appear for users of said terminals in the United States, preparing the jump later in European countries. When you have the new version of Android 9 Pie available on your terminal, you will be notified, automatically, in the terminal itself, proceeding later to download and install. If you want to see, manually, if you have a software update you have to enter the phone's settings, then in 'software update' and, if you have any, download and install.
You must take into account a series of things when installing a software update, such as having enough battery, storage space, doing it under WiFi connection and making a backup in case, during the process, the content is deleted from your mobile. If you follow all these tips, the update will come to fruition.
