Earlier this month Nokia announced the official list of Nokia phones that will update to Android 9 Pie. The Nokia 6.1 (also known as Nokia 6 of 2018) was one of the mobiles included in the aforementioned, foreseeable considering that the device has Android One, the Google program that ensures updates to a mobile for at least two years. A little more than two months have passed since the official presentation of Android 9 Pie and today there are few smartphones that have updated to that version. It was this morning when Nokia sent the official press release to the main technology media in the UK. In the aforementioned press release, the company confirms the release of Android 9 Pie as of today. Also for the Nokia 7.1 Plus the update to Android Pie has been announced, however, and as we can read in the official note, it will be at the end of next month when the terminal begins to receive its share of the Google cake.
As for the first, and as it usually happens in these cases, the update will arrive in a staggered way to the different regions, which is why it could be delayed for several days.
