Good news for all those users who, last year, decided to bet on the new Samsung mid-range. The Korean firm has just announced that it will update the Samsung Galaxy A8 and Samsung Galaxy A9 to the latest, for now, version of Android, called Pie. The first of them has already appeared on the website of the Wi-Fi Alliance (WiFi product certification organization) and the update is expected to appear on users' terminals next April.
April 2019, Samsung's mid-range will receive Android 9 Pie
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy A9 has also received the certification to be able to be updated to Android 9 Pie. These two mid-range terminals would be joined by the announcement already made that the third party, the Samsung Galaxy A7, would also receive the update. So Samsung's mid-range is not going to become obsolete and all of them will receive the juicy news that Android announced in 2018.
Among the most outstanding functions of Android 9 Pie is that Artificial Intelligence is the protagonist. Imagine that your mobile learned, every day, the specific use that you give it. Not everyone uses mobile phones in the same way. There are those who mostly use it to play games, others to watch movies, there are those who have a battery that lasts for days since they only turn it on to send messages through WhatsApp and then there are those who go crazy taking pictures and sharing them with their friends. The AI will learn from this use, being used to offer higher performance, better optimization of equipment and greater autonomy.
What is still not very well known is whether, in the same month of April, the three terminals will be updated or their improvements will be seen in a staggered manner. Make sure you have enough battery and space on your mobile when the update arrives. In addition, it is always advisable to do a formatting once the new version has been installed, in order to avoid errors. So the best thing is that you have a good backup and then dump your data back on the mobile.
