If we take into account the leaks that have appeared in recent months in relation to this update, it is most likely that Sony will begin to distribute the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update between the months of July and August. Presumably the first to receive the update will be owners of a device from the Xperia Z3 range, closely followed by owners of the Xperia Z2 range. In the absence of an official confirmation from Sony, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update is initially expected to be primarily aimed at fixing bugs.
