While many users have to continue waiting for the landing of the Android 2.2 Froyo version for certain terminals, such as the Samsung Galaxy S, from Google they would have already given the blow to manufacturers to have their tablet prototypes ready next December. The idea would be to carry out the first tests of Android 3.0, which according to DigiTimes, could be about to come out of the oven.
The idea of those of Mountain View is that the manufacturers finalize the behavior of their devices in order to present their proposals during the beginning of next year. Specifically, Google's plans assume that CES 2011 (the technology fair that opens the year from January 7) could be the place where it could give first-person testimony of how the firm revolutionizes its own operating system for portable devices with the platform that is also known as Gingerbread.
Among the first partners to show the Android 3.0 Gingerbread, it has been known that Samsung, Asus, Acer, Motorola, MSI and HTC will jump on the bandwagon of this platform. However, there are already rumors that HTC's proposal is somewhat more delayed, so that it would not be until the second quarter of 2011 when it would have its tablet ready to present it to the market.
The question after knowing this is if the rest of the manufacturers will fulfill the agenda to be able to present their tablet with Android 3.0 at CES 2011 or would they have to wait for another moment in the first quarter of the year that begins.
Among the novelties that the future Android 3.0 Gingerbread could give of itself is a revolution in the graphical interface, much cleaner, more accessible and attractive, as well as integrated video chat functions.
