- And these are the ones we hope will arrive
Just six days ago, Google launched the trial version for Android 11 developers. Thanks to this move, we could see the first confirmed features of the new version of the operating system, which will be officially launched later this year. In this special, we are going to focus on the news that we hope will reach our Samsung, while we will inform you of those that we are sure to enjoy.
These are the news of Android 11 that will come to our Samsung
Perhaps, when the final version is released, new functionalities will appear, or those that we already know will appear modified. Be that as it may, these are some of the new features that the Android 11 developer version has revealed and that we will see on our Samsung phones under the One UI custom layer.
- Improved conversations. Do you remember the conversation bubbles of Facebook Messenger? Google has taken good note of this characteristic design and has wanted to take it to the Android 11 interface. In this sense, we will also have a 'conversations' section within the notification curtain, where, in addition, we can include images without the need for enter the corresponding application. In addition, you can press and hold the conversation notification to turn it into a bubble, create a shortcut to the conversation on the home screen, mark the conversation as important, etc.
- Advanced security. The security patches that Google distributes every month will reach many more devices, starting with Android 11.
- 5G support with improvements. Google will update its connectivity APIs to adapt to the new 5G connections and, thus, be able to enjoy the high speed it offers.
- Screen recording. Something that many users demanded will finally reach our Samsung phones: to be able to record what we are doing with the mobile, for example, video game sessions. We will no longer have to use third-party applications to do so. We can record the screen through a shortcut icon in the notification bar.
- Programmable dark mode. We can tell our Samsung with Android 11 when we want to have the dark mode: at what time it is best to have a light mode and when we want to rest from it.
And these are the ones we hope will arrive
Call recorder. Xiaomi already incorporates it in its MIUI personalization layer and it is something that many have been asking for for a long time, a native application to be able to record phone calls. It is something that, a priori, does not seem very useful but that, when you end up needing it, believe me… you will miss it.
Notify if an application is following or spying on you. Something completely necessary to keep those permissions that we 'unintentionally' grant at bay.
Advanced gesture system. In Android 10 we finally had a gesture system to match… or not. The back gesture is not sufficiently optimized, causing problems for many users. We hope that in Android 11 and One UI this is finally solved.
New, more simplified interface. The Android system has always been characterized by offering a minimalist and simple experience. Hopefully they continue on that path and this is reflected in Samsung's One UI layer.
