Days after announcing the launch of the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL, some users begin to complain about automatic restart problems. Specifically, the complaints have been transferred to Reddit, where the owners of the terminals are commenting on this failure and giving explanations about it. As those affected have revealed, both devices restart several times a day. Some users even complain about having to reboot the system in safe mode, holding down the power button for a long time.
At the moment, it is unknown what could be happening and what would be causing these random reboots. Some of those affected have verified that depending on what type of WiFi networks they connect to and in which places, these reboots occur or not. The good thing, as we say, is that it does not happen to all terminal buyers. In other words, these are isolated cases. However, if it continues to increase, Google will have no choice but to take action on the matter and pronounce on it. We do not imagine that the solution could be in the form of an update.
The Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL boast mid-range features at a price of 400-480 euros, respectively. Both come with a Snapdragon 670 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. For the photographic section, the new Google Pixels include a 12.2 megapixel main sensor and an 8 megapixel front sensor for selfies. The devices are also governed by Android 9 Pie, the latest version of Google's mobile platform. The only differences between the two are found in the screen and battery.
While the Google Pixel 3a has a 5.6-inch gOLED panel with FHD + resolution, the Pixel 3a XL includes a larger 6-inch panel (also with FHD + resolution). For its part, the first's battery has a capacity of 3,000 mAh with 18W fast charge. The XL model is 3,700 mAh with 18W fast charge. We will be very attentive to Google's response and the possible solution to this problem with reboots. If you have also noticed them, be sure to leave your impressions in the comments section.
