Alcatel has just presented its new Alcatel A3 XL smartphone, an entry phone with a large screen (6 inches) and HD resolution, 8 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel front camera.
One of its most striking aspects is the design, since the phone will be sold in white or black, but the frames will be available in different colors to give a more striking touch to the aesthetics. Regarding data protection, it is worth noting that the Alcatel A3 XL has a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the terminal, a feature that is appreciated because it is generally only available on high-end smartphones. medium and high.
The terminal comes standard with the Android 7 Nougat operating system along with a series of Alcatel's own applications. It will go on sale in the second quarter of 2017, although its final price has not yet been confirmed.

The Alcatel A3 XL phone stands out especially for its striking design, which combines a base color (white or black) with different colored frames to give it a personal touch according to the user's tastes. The terminal measures 165 millimeters long x 82.5 millimeters wide x 7.9 millimeters thick, and has a 6-inch IPS touch screen with HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels). The screen is multi-touch and recognizes up to five simultaneous pressure points.

As it was designed to be an entry-level terminal, it is not a particularly powerful smartphone, but if we consider the characteristics of the camera and the screen, not much more is needed for smooth performance. Of course: some applications that consume a lot of phone resources (especially those that need to load a lot of graphics in real time) may slow down the operation quite a bit.
The Alcatel A3 XL comes standard with Android 7 Nougat, the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. As for the battery, the smartphone is equipped with a 3000 mAh capacity, which will surely offer very good autonomy results. This is due, above all, to the characteristics of the screen, since even if it is 6 inches it will not consume too many resources due to its HD resolution (instead of Full HD or higher). To this must be added that Alcatel usually incorporates the Boost application, a phone optimizer that allows you to save energy thanks to the intelligent management of RAM memory and smartphone resources.
Price and availability
Although the Alcatel A3 XL is already official (it has been presented at the CES 2017 technology fair), it will not hit the market until the second quarter of 2017, and at the moment there are no details about its price. In any case, taking into account the characteristics mentioned so far, it is likely to be between 100 and 150 euros, but we still have to wait until the official information on the price arrives.
