We have a new Alcatel brand terminal. The Alcatel 5V has just been announced with all the honors of belonging to the brand's high-end range. Be careful, this does not mean that it is an expensive terminal, quite the contrary, but within the Alcatel catalog it is the terminal that offers the best features.
Infinite screen and double camera with Artificial Intelligence
Alcatel takes aim at the infinity screen and notch craze on the new Alcatel 5V with a 6.2-inch 19: 9 aspect ratio panel, which takes up 88 percent of the front. For the user to get a good idea of its size, it will be like holding a 5.5-inch terminal but with a more used screen. The phone is built in 2.5D Dragontrail glass and unibody format. The case has a shiny mirror effect due to the Optical Vacuum Plating (OPVM) finish.
Regarding the photographic section, we have a dual main camera of 12 and 2 megapixels. It has Artificial Intelligence thanks to which the phone will automatically detect 11 different scenes and adjust the settings so that the best snapshot always comes out. In addition, thanks to the secondary sensor, we can obtain photographs with portrait mode in real time, adjusting the focus and blur lines while we take the photo. For its part, the selfie camera has 8 megapixels.
Another aspect in which the brand emphasizes with respect to the Alcatel 5V is its integration with Google Lens, which makes it easier for users to search for information on the Internet from images taken with the camera itself, as well as text translation. On the other hand, the phone incorporates facial unlocking through Face Key technology, which is capable of identifying up to 106 points on the face to unlock the terminal in a time of 0.5 seconds. Of course, we will also have an integrated fingerprint sensor.
We finish the walk through the characteristics indicating that the Alcatel 5V will have an eight-core Mediatek processor accompanied by a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. We can expand this storage up to 128 thanks to the insertion of microSD cards. Its battery will be 4,000 mAh and we will have Android 8 Oreo installed.
The new Alcatel 5V will be available in stores from August. It will have a sale price of 230 euros.
