Alcatel has taken advantage of the IFA in Berlin to announce new devices to include in its catalog. One of them has been the Alcatel 3X, which boasts an infinite panel with a notch in the shape of a drop of water, triple rear camera or eight-core processor along with 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The new terminal also comes with a 4,000 mAh battery, which will allow autonomy for several days, as well as an Android 9 system or a physical fingerprint reader on the back.
The Alcatel 3X will go on sale from next October in two versions. The most restrained, with 4 + 64 GB, will be priced at 160 euros. There will also be another model with 6 + 128 GB for 180 euros. Read on for all the full details.

The new Alcatel 3X includes an infinity panel with a ratio of 20: 9. Its size is 6.52 inches with an HD + resolution of 720 x 1600. At the design level, it is an elegant device, built in 2.5D glass on both sides, whose screen is the real star of the front. We hardly see frames, although a notch in the shape of a drop of water is not missing. Its rear is quite clean, with a triple camera arranged vertically and located in the upper left corner. The physical fingerprint reader is positioned right in the center. A little further down is the company's seal.
Inside this new model there is room for a MT6763V / V processor, an eight cores (4 x A53 at 2.0 GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.5GHz). This SoC is accompanied by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 64 or 128 GB, expandable by using microSD cards of up to 128 GB. On a photographic level, the Alcatel 3X catches up with other rival mid-ranges. It includes a triple camera made up of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and f / 1.8 aperture, a second 8-megapixel f / 2.2 sensor and a third 5-megapixel sensor for in-depth images with f / 2.4 aperture. For selfies we have a hidden sensor in the 8 megapixel notch and f / 2.0 aperture.
As for the rest of the features, the Alcatel 3X equips a 4,000 mAh battery and comes governed by Android 9 Pie. There's no lack of FM radio or a whole bunch of connections: NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, WiFi, LTE or 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price and availability
The Alcatel 3X will land in Spain next October in two versions. We can choose one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage at a price of 160 euros. With 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of space it will cost a little more, 180 euros.
