Alcatel wanted to join the CES fair held in Las Vegas and has launched two new mobile devices. The most interesting is the Alcatel 1X from 2019, the second generation of an entry range with a 5.5-inch screen, double camera and compact design, all this for a price that does not exceed 150 euros. In addition, the Alcatel 1X includes face unlock and different finishes in blue or black. We will tell you below all its characteristics, how much it costs and the most important specifications.
The Alcatel 1X is a mobile with a simple design. It has a polycarbonate back and a rough finish. In the center is a double camera accompanied by an LED flash and an Alcatel logo at the bottom. They are followed by frames with a double finish that gives a different touch to the mobile. The frames are about 8.3 millimeters thick. The keypad is on the right side and the tray for the SIM cards is on the left. Right at the top is the headphone jack, while the main speaker and the charging connector are located at the bottom.
The front does not take the frames to a minimum, but it does have a panoramic panel, 18: 9. In the upper area we find the front camera and the speaker for calls. The navigation buttons are located directly on the system.

Alcatel 1X with face unlock
One of the most interesting features of the Alcatel 1X is its screen. It has a 5.5-inch panel and HD + resolution (720 x 1440 pixels). For power, it is accompanied by a quad-core MediaTeck MT6739WW processor and 2 GB of RAM. Storage is 16GB, but can be expanded via micro SD, with support up to 256GB.
The dual camera has a resolution of 13 and 2 megapixels. This configuration will allow us to take pictures with the popular blur effect. The front down to 5 megapixels. The Alcatel 1X also includes a 3,000 mAh battery life and Android 8.1 Oreo. This mobile does not have a fingerprint reader. However, face unlock has been added as an alternative method. This works through software and can be supplemented with the PIN or unlock pattern.
Price and availability
The Alcatel 1X will go on sale during the first quarter of this year. It will cost 120 euros. At the moment, we do not know the stores where it will be available, as well as its exact date of departure for sale.
