Alcatel has unveiled new mobiles at the CES consumer technology fair in Las Vegas. A place where different manufacturers from different fields of electronics come together to show off their new product families. In the case of Alcatel, several entry-level mobiles that seek to meet almost any need without leaving our account in the red. One of the most affordable is the review of the Alcatel 1C of this year 2019, which takes advantage of the pull and possibilities of Android GO to cut expenses in processor, memory and other aspects, without losing functionality.
It is a mobile with a 4.95-inch screen finished in plastic and with a very clean and simple design. And the fact is that the front only has a screen, although with generous frames. Of course, being panoramic, with an 18: 9 format, you can afford to house the virtual buttons at the base of it without losing too much information. Its resolution does not reach the SD standard, and it remains in a panoramic version of the FWVGA, with 480 x 960 pixels. Enough to reproduce content but without showing all the details.

The rest of the body only features the physical buttons on the right side, and a rugged rear casing with a youthful look. The finish is not trivial, and you are looking for an ergonomic grip that prevents slipping. The 2019 Alcatel 1C arrives in two colors: blue or black. A simple mobile on the outside and also on the inside.
Tight processor but with Android Go
If we look at its technical sheet, we find a terminal that includes a quad-core processor capable of putting them at 1.3 Ghz clock speed. That is, a basic power that is far from the most powerful mobiles on the market. Nor does it stand out in its RAM, which is only 1 GB in capacity. In terms of storage, there is only an 8 GB model to store photos, videos, applications and other content. Something that can be expanded up to 32 GB more if a microSD memory card is inserted.
The key to making this datasheet so accurate is that it has the Android GO operating system. An adjusted version of Android 8 Oreo that allows terminals with few resources to continue to have Google functions and applications without cuts. Or at least without cuts in terms of functionality. All this without neglecting the rest of the applications of the Android ecosystem. In this way, although the Alcatel 1C of 2019 is not a mobile for gamers, it can carry out all kinds of usual functions in any other range of terminals. But for much less, of course.
At the moment Alcatel has not confirmed when this Alcatel 1C of 2019 will land in the markets. It has only announced it and has offered a good list of countries available in the future, among which is Spain. Its price will be 70 euros. In short, a very tight terminal in terms of quality-functionality-price.
