It is well known that while Steve Jobs was at the helm of Apple, the Flash technology of the Adobe company was not well received on the mobile devices of those in Cupertino. The arrival of the next generation of the iPhone 5 mobile has made the software manufacturer react and has presented new tools to publish content in Flash that would be compatible with devices such as iPhone, iPod and iPad.
But be careful, it is not about implementing Flash technology natively as it happens in other platforms such as Android or, as it can happen in any computer. Rather, Adobe would have chosen a somewhat more ambiguous path. Even so, the only part that would be compatible with Apple iOS mobile platform at least for the moment would be the videos section.
During the IBC fair in Amsterdam, Adobe has presented its new versions of the necessary tools so that content based on its Flash technology can be included. These versions would be: Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5 and Adobe Flash Access 3.0. But, how would they work so that they could be seen on Apple terminals ? In the opinion, the new Adobe technologies would get identify the type of computer you are trying to access the Flash - based content and detecting that it is a mobile, player or tablet from Apple, the content would be transformed into a compatible format.
However, it should be noted again that web pages or advertisements based on Adobe technology will not, for the moment, be compatible with Apple equipment. Finally, Adobe has chosen the path that other companies have already chosen. That is, through third-party applications and their respective servers, videos encoded in a compatible format that could be played without problems were transformed and returned to the iPhone or iPad. An example of this is the SkyFire browser.
