The Huawei P10 terminal receives an update with news that improve the general performance of the terminal. Launched in March of this year, this is a high-end terminal with a 5.1-inch screen and Full HD resolution, as well as a double camera to enjoy playing with depth of field. An update that is already being released in a multitude of terminals, and that you can download, via OTA, from the settings of the phone itself.
What's new in the update for the Huawei P10
Among the novelties of the Huawei P10 update are:
- Changelog: Add Mirrorlink to establish a connection between the phone and the car for safe driving. Once you have connected the mobile to the car, you will be able to control it through the screen that your car has incorporated. How to connect a Chromecast to the TV.
- Optimizations: the Huawei P10's use of energy is improved to increase the time of use of the mobile
- Google security patches
To update your Huawei P10 you must take into account the following considerations:
Depending on the weight of the update, you should have more or less space on your phone. For added security, make sure you have enough storage by deleting photos and videos or uninstalling applications that you no longer use.
Do not forget to always have a backup copy of the content of your phone: photos, videos, movies, series… Thus, in the unlikely event that your data is erased, you will always have a backup at hand.
The phone must have a suitable battery percentage so that it does not turn off during the update process. If this happens, the phone could become unusable. So, if you can update it while plugged into the network, all the better.
It is always better to download the file if you are connected to a WiFi network, as they tend to be heavy updates, with the consequent cost of data that a mobile download would entail. So, if at the time you get the update notice you are not under a WiFI network, postpone the update until you get to work or home.
