Samsung has started rolling out a much-needed maintenance update for the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) in Europe. The company has reported that an issue that prevented users from charging the terminal by more than 87 percent has been fixed. In other words, once this new security patch is installed, you will be able to enjoy a one hundred percent load, as usual.
Solution to charging problems
It is not entirely clear why the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) could not charge to its maximum capacity. From SamMobile they assure that it could be due to a faulty line of code added in a recent update. This update was released to fix the nasty BlueBorne security vulnerability, and in the end the cure was worse than the disease. In any case, with this new patch everything is solved.
Typically, you will receive a pop-up message on your device advising you of this new update. If not, you already know that you can check it yourself from the Settings section, Software update, Download updates manually. It is available under the build number A310FXXU3CQI8. Samsung has also reported that this same update has also reached the Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 with code A510FXXU4CQI9. In this case, only bugs and other security flaws are solved, since this model did not present the loading problem.
Before updating you already know that it is best to make a backup of all the data on the phone. In this way, in the event of a problem, you will not have lost anything you have stored. In addition, we advise you that when you go to download the patch, you do so through a stable and secure connection. Avoid doing it on public WiFis or through your contracted data connection. If you have not received this update, nor checking it, please be patient. It is arriving in Europe at the moment and the deployment is being gradual.
