The Taiwanese manufacturer Acer has taken advantage of the CES 2015 technology event to present some of its novelties for the mobile phone market of this year 2015. One of these innovations is the Acer Liquid Jade S, an upgraded version of the Acer Liquid Jade that was presented during the month of August of the year 2014. The Acer Liquid Jade S is presented with certain novelties compared to its predecessor: 4G LTE connectivity, Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, eight-core processor or 16 GigaBytesinternal storage. The Acer Liquid Jade S will be available in the coming weeks in Spanish stores for a starting price of 300 euros.
If we stop to analyze more closely the Acer Liquid Jade S, the first thing you see is that this smartphone comes with a screen five inches reaching a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The dimensions of the terminal reach 143 x 69 x 7.8 mm, and weight is set at 116 grams. The Liquid Jade S will hit the market in two case colors: white (" Moon White ") and black (" Cosmic Black ").
Regarding the internal components of the Acer Liquid Jade S, inside this smartphone we find an eight-core Mediatek processor (model MT6572M) that works at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz together with a RAM memory of 2 GigaBytes. The internal storage space is 16 GigaBytes, and this capacity can be expanded by means of an external microSD card of up to 32 GigaBytes.
The operating system installed as standard in the Acer Liquid Jade S corresponds to Android in the Android version 4.4.4 KitKat, although Acer ensures that it will update the Acer Liquid Jade S to Android 5.0 Lollipop throughout 2015.
The Acer Liquid Jade S also has two cameras. The main camera has a sensor 13 megapixel camera (with LED flash and autofocus) and allows you to take pictures with a maximum resolution of 4,160 x 3,120 pixels (in the case of video maximum resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 30 frames per second). The front camera incorporates a sensor five megapixel.
Other technical specifications of this smartphone are composed of connectivity 4G LTE of Internet ultra-fast (up to 150 Mbps download speed), a battery with 2,300 mAh capacity, a slot Dual-SIM protection and knocks Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the screen.
The Acer Liquid Jade S will be available in Spain during the month of January, and its arrival on the market will take place with a starting price set at 300 euros. Users looking for a slightly cheaper alternative within Acer can also be attentive to the arrival of the Acer Liquid Z410, a somewhat simpler mobile that incorporates 4G LTE connectivity and that will cost 130 euros.
