The Taiwanese Acer is preparing a new Android mobile for the family of phones based on the Google system. It will be subscribed to the Liquid range, its favorite brand of green robot terminals, and it seems that it will arrive with the latest version of the platform, Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Its name is Acer Liquid Express, and the fact that it has more than one similarity in design and performance with the Acer Liquid Mini is not by chance: the fact that it is coded as the E320 model makes it clear that it is an updated evolution of that terminal (which we knew as the E310).
Through Unwired View we have been able to learn about the existence of this device, which at the moment has no confirmation from the manufacturer regarding launch dates or a possible sale price to the public. However, judging by the characteristics that have become known about the Acer Liquid Express, it does not seem likely that it will be especially expensive, and it is assumed that with the help of an operator it could be obtained from zero euros.
To begin with, the Acer Liquid Express is a compact mobile that does not seek to present a large format screen. By cons, this phone stays in the standard 3.5 inches of the mid-range terminals. That makes it an agile and very handy mobile, especially interesting for users who do not seek to acquire a mobile with a tablet complex.
On the other hand, the Acer Liquid Express equips an 800 MHz processor. It is a chip of a single core, so it does not seek to compete in power with devices first line, which in principle could affect a better battery management, without that being a problem for Gingerbread running smoothly.
In the plane multimedia, highlights the presence of a five megapixel camera accompanied by an LED flash and although not confirmed, could record video in HD quality with 720 scan lines. As usual, there is no lack of the classic connection combo of this type of device (Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS), and it also equips 512 MB of RAM memory.
